Task Sync

When Glyphic processes a call, it can extract tasks — concrete next steps that came up during the conversation. Task Sync writes those tasks back into your CRM as Tasks (or your CRM's equivalent), so reps don't have to re-enter them by hand.

How it works

  • After a call is processed, Glyphic identifies action items and presents them on the call page under Tasks.
  • If Task Sync is enabled, those tasks are also created in your CRM (HubSpot or Salesforce) and associated with the matching Contact, Company, or Deal.
  • Tasks are owned by the rep who was on the call, so they show up in their CRM task list and dashboards.

Two-level control

Task Sync has two layers — an organization-level switch and a per-user toggle.

Organization (admin) — enable Task Sync overall

Admins enable Task Sync from the per-CRM settings:

  1. Go to Settings → Organizational → CRM data sync.
  2. Click the gear icon next to your connected CRM (HubSpot or Salesforce).
  3. Turn on Automatically Sync Tasks.

This makes Task Sync available for everyone in the workspace. Until this is on, the user-level toggle is disabled.

User — opt in or out

Each user can decide whether their own tasks are synced:

  1. Go to Settings → Personal → Task Sync.
  2. Toggle Sync tasks to CRM.

The default for users is on once admins have enabled it at the org level. Turning it off only affects your own tasks — your teammates' sync settings are independent.

What ends up in the CRM

  • One CRM Task per task identified on the call.
  • The task title and description match what you see on the Glyphic call page.
  • The task is associated with the Contact / Company / Deal Glyphic linked to the call.
  • The task owner is the Glyphic user who was on the call.

FAQ

What if a call isn't matched to a CRM record?

If Glyphic can't link a call to a Contact, Company, or Deal in your CRM, the task can't be created in the CRM. The task still appears on the Glyphic call page so you can act on it.

Do edits to a task in Glyphic flow back to the CRM?

Tasks are created when the call is processed. Subsequent edits in Glyphic are not pushed to the CRM. Edit them in whichever system is your source of truth.

Why is the toggle in my Personal settings disabled?

An admin hasn't enabled Task Sync at the organization level. Ask them to turn it on under Settings → Organizational → CRM data sync → [your CRM] → gear → Automatically Sync Tasks.
