AI Sales Roleplay View Permissions

Last updated: April 20, 2026

AI Sales Roleplays are practice calls — typically reps role-playing a scenario to develop a skill. Because they can be sensitive (you don't necessarily want every teammate to watch every practice attempt), Glyphic gives admins a permission control to decide who can see whose AI Sales Roleplay calls.

Where to set it

  1. Go to Settings → Organizational.
  2. Find AI Sales Roleplay view permissions.
  3. Pick a permission level.

Permission levels

  • Unrestricted — every user in the workspace can view every AI Sales Roleplay call. Useful for organizations with a strong open-by-default culture.
  • Restricted — users can only view their own AI Sales Roleplay calls and those of anyone who reports to them. Admins can still view all users' AI Sales Roleplay calls. This is the typical setting if managers run coaching for their direct reports.

Reporting relationships come from the Manager field on each user — set it under Settings → Users.

Difference from regular call privacy

This permission is specific to AI Sales Roleplay calls — practice or training calls flagged as such. Regular customer calls follow the standard privacy rules (default-to-private, individual lock per call, etc.). For those, see the Call privacy articles.

Permissions

Only admins can change this setting.

FAQ

Does Restricted apply to admins too?

No. Admins always retain access to all AI Sales Roleplay calls regardless of the setting.

What counts as "anyone who reports to them"?

It walks the manager hierarchy down — direct reports and their reports, recursively — based on the Manager field on each user.

Are scorecards on AI Sales Roleplay calls also restricted?

Yes. If an AI Sales Roleplay call isn't visible to a user, the scorecard for that call isn't either. (Regular call scorecards have a separate permission in the same settings page.)
