CRM Preferences

After connecting HubSpot or Salesforce, click the gear icon next to the CRM in Settings → Organizational → CRM data sync to open CRM Preferences. This panel controls what Glyphic writes back to your CRM and how it interprets data from it.

The toggles

Automatically Sync Notes

When on, a note containing the call summary is added to your CRM (HubSpot Notes / Salesforce Notes) for the matched object after every call is processed.

Automatically Sync Tasks

When on, action items extracted from the call become CRM tasks, owned by the rep who was on the call. See Task Sync for the full details, including the per-user opt-in.

Automatically Sync Meetings (HubSpot) / Sync Calls (Salesforce)

When on, a meeting (HubSpot) or call task (Salesforce) record is logged or updated in your CRM with the call summary every time a call is processed.

Automatically Sync Custom Insights

When on, values for any Custom Insight with a CRM field mapping are pushed to the corresponding CRM field after the call. The toggle is disabled until at least one Custom Insight has a CRM mapping configured.

Automatically Create Contacts

When on, Glyphic creates a Contact (HubSpot) or Contact / Lead (Salesforce) for unknown call participants. See the integration-specific articles for the rules:

Process HubSpot calls / Process Sales Dialer calls

When on, calls you record in your CRM (via HubSpot's call functionality or Salesforce Sales Dialer) are also pulled into Glyphic and processed.

Other settings on this panel

  • Deal Pipelines (HubSpot) — restrict Glyphic to only sync data on deals from the pipelines you select. Useful when you have multiple business lines but only want Glyphic active on one.
  • Company URL field — choose which CRM field holds the company website URL. Glyphic uses this to match call participants to the right Company / Account.
  • Field Overrides — for advanced setups where the default object/field mapping doesn't fit. Reach out to support before changing.

Saving

Each toggle saves on click — there's no separate Save button. A "Changes saved" indicator briefly appears at the bottom of the panel to confirm.

Permissions

Only admins can connect a CRM and change CRM Preferences.

FAQ

Why is "Automatically Sync Custom Insights" disabled?

You don't have any Custom Insights configured with a CRM field mapping yet. Set one up under Settings → Insights, give it a CRM field destination, then come back and toggle this on.

Will turning on Sync Notes overwrite existing notes in the CRM?

No. Each call creates a new Note. Existing CRM notes are untouched.

Can I have different settings per CRM?

Glyphic only syncs to one CRM at a time. The CRM Preferences panel governs whichever CRM is currently connected.
